Ekas’ legal troubles began after he flashed the bird at a deputy in July 2007 while driving near Clackamas Town Center. Stopped and cited for an illegal lane change and improper display of license plates, he was later acquitted of the charges.

Over 600 pages of documents released Friday from three different police agencies revealed troubling indications that a Clackamas County couple’s relationship would end violently.
