Former TV reporter, Portland commissioner dies (The Columbian)

Dick Bogle, Oregon’s first black TV journalist, former Portland City Commissioner and Vancouver resident, died Thursday morning of congestive heart failure. Family members told KATU-TV that Bogle had been in and out of hospitals and nursing facilities since October but appeared to be recovering.
