Portland City Council may delay vote on Memorial Coliseum finalists

Portland Mayor Sam Adams said Tuesday night he will hash out the current operating agreement for Memorial Coliseum in advance of Thursday’s council vote on finalists. The Trail Blazers currently hold operating options on the coliseum, making it difficult for anyone else to make money off the building unless the agreement is changed.

Father holds out hope hiker will be found safe

Arriving from the East Coast to the Pacific Northwest, the father of a missing hiker in the Columbia River Gorge made a plea Tuesday for public help and said he wasn’t giving up hope his daughter, 24-year-old Katherine Heuther, would be found alive.
